Time to celebrate the 1st day of FALL. Ever since a group of us hiked in to Coquina Lake one gorgeous fall day ... I have wanted to return and take the left trail to Fish Lake. Fall colors at high elevation with forest and boulders are spectacular.
UPDATES: Watch for updates on this hike (weather, etc) on the Facebook events page

FISH LAKE trailhead is the same parking lot as Bear Creek Pass Trailhead (use this for driving directions). End of Lost Horse Rd. We actually start hiking in the Nez Pierce-Clearwater Nat Forest (ID) and hike into Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area (MT).

PLAN:
Event time includes carpooling/driving from Hamilton MT Super 1 parking lot.
Arrive at trail parking lot and enjoy your lunch via tailgating to fuel us up for the day. Hike into the lake. Relax there, bring fall-themed-snacks to share, fish if you like. Picking up trash at the lake, on trail, and in parking lot while hiking back from lake.
